Arizona International College: Directed Studies (AIDI)  College Info

AIDI 378A -- Directed Studies in Cultural and Natural History: Silver Lake Project (3) [Rpt./ 9 units] S This course is a multi-year field research project focused on the exploration, description, and interpretation of cultural and natural features associated with Silver Lake, an alpine environment and historic mine site in the San Juan Mts. of southwestern Colorado. P, consent of the instructor for non-AIC students.

AIDI 378B -- Directed Studies in Computer-based Training (1-6) [Rpt./ 12 units] This is a specialized and highly individualized program of study in which a small number of students work with a faculty member on projects involving Computer-based Training and Information Design. P, consent of instructor.

AIDI 378C -- Directed Studies in Fine and Performing Arts (1-6) [Rpt./ 12 units] I II This is a specialized and highly individualized program of study in which a small number of students work with a faculty member and a Community Mentor on projects and advanced studies in Media and Performing Arts. P, consent of instructor.

AIDI 478A -- Directed Studies in Sustainable Development (3-5) I II This course stresses the practical application of skills learned, including research skills, communications experience, and extensive computer applications to complete at least one hands-on project on a specific social, economic, and/or environmental issue in the world today. P, writing skills at senior level or above; consent of instructor for non-AIC students.
