The Division of Dance is in the School
of Music and Dance, which is in the College
of Fine Arts.
Degrees, Majors, Minors, and Options:
Baccalaureate Degree

* The Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts with a
dance option is jointly administered with the Theatre Arts Department
Students may declare one of the following, prior to admission to a
degree granting program:
Undergraduate Minors -- minors link to Minor Requirements Reports.
A minor is not required for the B.F.A. program.
Minors available within the Division of Dance are:
The Division of Dance provides studies in the art, the teaching and the
analysis of dance. The dance curriculum offers technique in ballet, jazz dance
and modern dance, choreography and ample performing experience, leading to the
Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in dance.
In cooperation with the Department of Theatre Arts, the Committee on Dance
offers programs of advanced study which lead to Master of Arts and Master of
Fine Arts degrees with a major in theatre arts with a dance concentration.
