The Program:

The Gerontology GIDP is administered by the Graduate Interdisciplinary Programs Office and is a unit within the External Link Arizona Center on Aging at the University of Arizona.  Gerontology is designed not only to offer its own degree programs, but also to supplement the curriculum in other fields.

Gerontology students often are working professionals.  To help them reach their educational goals the program offers many of its courses after hours through the UA Outreach College External Link Evening and Weekend Campus.
